Heartworm, Fleas, and Other Parasite Prevention
Dogs and Cats who go outdoors (even if only to urinate) should be protected with monthly medications against Heartworm and other parasites common in the warmer months between April/May and October/November, if not all year round which is preferable. They should also receive annual heartworm Antigen testing to ensure they are negative carriers before staring any monthly heartworm prevention treatments. Always get approved topical and oral preventative medications through your veterinarian for your pets safety. These include Revolution, Advantage(Multi), Heartguard, Sentinel, Advantix, etc.
