Spay and Neuter Surgery information
See "Online Forms" section of "New Patient Center"
We offer spay and neuter services for dogs, cats and rabbits. Pricing varies based on age, weight, sex, species, and optional services added with surgery. All pets getting a spay (for females) or neuter (for males) surgery require a pre-surgical exam and must be up to date with Rabies vaccine prior to being admitted for surgery. Pets are dropped off at a pre-scheduled time in the morning Monday through Friday, and are sent home later the same day in the evening with home care instructions. Recovery period is normally about 10-14 days.
*While we do offer some declaw surgery services only for situations requiring it, we do not actively promote the declaw procedure of amputating the last joint of your cats toes (to which their claw is attached). We strongly encourage pet owners to seek alternative options first (such as regular nail trims, soft-paws acrylic nail covers, training with scratch pads and deterrents, etc) before considering this option, which is best done while cats are 6-12 months of age at the same time as their spay/neuter surgery.*
